We have had 3 of the 7 grandkids birthdays for 2010 already.
Lydia turned 8 on January 10th...she is an amazing little girl who loves books, ballet, classical music, gymnastics and can do a split that just hurts watching her do it!!! She can make the craziest faces!
Desmond had his first birthday on April 17th, we went to Sacramento to celebrate and had a fun day in the park & just watching the kids play together! He is a sweet little (not really too little!) guy who is loved by his sisters to the enth degree!!! He started walking and is into everything he can get into! He has swallowed several interesting items...a bracelet is one! He loves to push buttons on the electronics. He is a joy to be with!!!
Today is Molly's birthday...She is an amazing and sweet girl who loves to give her mom heck and then turn around and be loving and considerate! A typical teenage girl in so many ways! A dancer, photographer, loves her siblings and is also annoyed by them!
Becoming a grandparent is something you can't control but it is the best job I have ever had!
Molly being the first grandchild has been the one who I have got to do a lot of experimenting on! Because she was the first, we have spent tons of one on one time with her and I wouldn't trade one minute of it! It is amazing to see your own kids turn into adults and parents and be so very proud of them and the skill that they show in parenting!

We gave Molly her gifts at Desmond's party...no park parties when you are 16!

What great pictures! That one of Desmond is amazing! Really captures his sweetness. Nice to hear about the parties. I can't believe Molly is 16 either. I remember the very day she was born. Happy Birthday Molly!
