Was it really 9 years ago that I got the phone call and made the crazy fast drive in the middle of the night drive to Berkley to be there when Lydia was born? It is so very hard to believe!But when you look at the beautiful girl in the pictures you can see that it is true!
Lydia's birthday party was held on Saturday even though her birthday is actually on January 10th, Monday!!!!!
The kids had a fun time together playing hide & seek, singing very loudly together...and just really enjoying each other! The cake was made by Safeway and was really cool! I guess it has been a while since I have seen a cake from there! It was 31 cupcakes that had been frosted together and decorated to look like a cake! Great idea!
Jen & Dave got Lydia an outfit to wear for her party...new jeans, a black long sleeved shirt with an adorable vest that was knit on the outside and furry on the inside! It was a brown vest and it matched the boots that we had found for her!!! You can see the whole outfit here! She looked so beautiful!
Lydia is a very intelligent girl who is very flexible and strong! She loves gymnastics & ballet & is amazing at both!!!

That cake was beautiful. Lydia reminds me of Aleah at that same age in her looks. Happy Birthday Lydia!
