The Sleep of the Innocent

This sweet (most of the time!) little guy had a busy day today! We went to Grandma Judy's & Grandpa Floyd's house at 9am for a tractor ride! It was on the request list! Then we came home & had lunch, watched a movie. At about 2pm Melissa brought Riley Drew & Collin over for a few hours of fun! Then after they left, Papa had to run some errands & Daisy went to keep him company! Desmond decided to go out to the backyard to play some more...in the mud!!!!! He was a muddy mess when he came in! I dropped him in the tub (after taking some pics of course!) He ate a bowl of watermelon & crawled up next to me in the chair...& promptly went to sleep! When I tried to wake him up to feed him dinner he wasn't happy at all & he had a bit of a melt down...got into his bed & went back to sleep! The wedding we had planned on going to had to go on without us. Oh well, you only have them at 3 years old for a very short time! He will be sad to miss the punch & dessert!
